Triumph and Munee ($) are out of Newport News, VA. They met each other as teenagers and became the best of friends through music and sports. With very similar backgrounds, their music inspirations include artist such as 2 Pac, Notorious BIG, UGK, and Nipsey Hussle. As members of EnTaPrize (ETP), the dynamic duo has come together to present high energy with lyrical content for the ages. With recent appearances on BET’s 106 and Park, they graced the stage twice as winners of the competition. Opening for artist like Chris Brown, Redman, Method Man, and G Unit helped them gain exposure with experience while developing as artist. As Triumph and Munee continue working behind the scenes they’re preparing to be a house hold name for years to come. Their recent EP entitled “Blood Sweat nTearz” is currently available on iTunes.

In entertainment news, R&B sensation singer/songwriter Tocarra Hamilton inks major worldwide distribution deal via joint venture with Atlanta-based record label AE Music Group (distributed by Rebel Hill Music/Warner Music Group), for her imprint Tocarra Music.

Tocarra, best known for her features with Usher on “Daddy’s Home”, Raz B and Pitbull’s “Dance With Me”. She has toured the US, opening up for national acts like Jazmine Sullivan, Wale and Nicki Minaj and performing in packed coliseums on big stages for events like the Bronner Bros Hair Show, the Dubb Car Show Tour and For Sisters Only.

Her music has been heard on VH-1’s Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta. “No Love” with Rapper/Reality show star, Lil’ Scrappy was co-written and performed by none other than Tocarra. The video has been viewed by millions and can be seen on VH-1, BET and MTV and has also garnered over 4 million views on YouTube.

Her career merits are notable and honorable. A phenomenal writer, with over 54 songs in her catalog, she has been honored by ASCAP for her writing abilities, was honored by the Who’s Who of Atlanta as a great artist and entrepreneur and 2 nominations by the GA Music Awards for Best Female R&B Artist.

Aside from music, Tocarra is also passionate about her work with youth and particularly young girls. Tocarra has traveled to Biloxi, MS to perform and speak to over five thousand teen girls at the annual Saving Our Sisters Community Event; held at The Coast Coliseum. The mission of the event is to advocate for abstinence, education and positive influences of young girls. In her role on the Board as Music Ambassador, Tocarra travels to Raleigh, North Carolina in support of the Music 4 Hope Foundation to give her time and talents to its fundraising efforts to support families with children facing Cancer and other life-threatening diseases. This past winter, Tocarra participated in “Celebs Give Back”, a campaign that assists over 1,200 families (annually) during Christmas; with providing needy families with Food and Toys during the holiday season.

Tocarra also travels to high schools to encourage youth to stay in school and complete their education; and to discuss the dangers of bullying. She will participate in the launch of a national anti-bullying campaign this spring in elementary and middle schools nationwide. Tocarra’s musical journey takes a national platform with more success to come. Tocarra is presently the headliner on The Score College Tour.

Her new single “ALL IN” is slated for release on January 13, 2015.

This is “Origins Discoveries & Revelations”, my first official independent release. In doing this, I’m sharing with you pieces of the journeys through the music that I take, some of the snapshots; the moments in time that I bring back to the surface. This particular journey contains funk, rock, soul, jazz, psychadelic, african, and even iranian influences and sources. All lensed, translated and transmuted through the minds eye of your very own… I laced and scratched over these pieces with some of the greats, and the pioneers of the hip hop art form.
