“The Following” is a storytelling song perfect for the Halloween season as Jimmy takes his frustrations out on TMZ’s favorite rappers such as Kanye West, Drake, and Macklemore. The track explores the dark side of the usually social conscious rapper, as he gets progressively more frustrated with being ignored by mainstream publications and decides to give them all something to talk about. Jimmy ValenTime crafts a mini horror movie as he takes you on a journey into the mind of a man out to change hip-hop by any means necessary, even if it means MURDER.
The song was produced by Jimmy and Newo Tha Kid, the team worked together on Jimmy’s popular single “MC SERCH” and on the song “Winter is Mine.” “The Following” is a free download available on SoundCloud till November 1st and can be found on Jimmy’s new album “Better Luck Tomorrow.”
