Credit to the Nation (@cttnation) – ‘Back to the Dirt’ EP (via @xflowrecs)

British hip-hop pioneers Credit to the Nation have returned to the scene with a brand new 5-track EP entitled ‘Back to the Dirt’, available now at digital retailers. The new EP, released at midnight December 4, is also available to stream in its entirety on Soundcloud and includes collaborations with veteran rapper Sadat X of the legendary Brand Nubian crew, Benji Webbe of Welsh ragga-metallers Skindred, reggae singer Ras Boops and label mates Kinkaid.

Credit to the Nation made a name for themselves in the early nineties. Their debut album ‘Take Dis’, birthed a selection of political hits and popular singles. These included ‘Teenage Sensation’, which reached #23 on the UK Singles Chart, ‘Sowing The Seeds Of Hatred’, and the breakthrough single, ‘Call It What You Want’, which appeared on the soundtrack to the Jude Law movie Shopping. The band are gearing up to release their first album in 20 years in 2016.

Pittsburgh’s own Boonie The Kid is emerging on the scene as strategically builds his Steel House Entertainment Label. Boonie is not only an artist, but is the C.E.O. He recently re-released his single “We Trappin”, which gives a description of the celebratory hustler who is victorious in his quest for success.
