Susan J. Feingold (@susanjfeingold) – “Seven People Dancing”

Seven People Dancing, written by Susan J. Feingold, is a jazz-style, whimsical song which tells about an all night Harlem dance party in the early 60s. The lyrics are taken from Langston Hughes’ short story of the same name.

Paul An is the singer. He can sing anything, from jazz to opera! His voice and the way he puts over the words, make this song a “must-hear’!

Crucial (@Crucialboi) – On My Grind

The catchy new single will be featured on Crucial’s upcoming new album titled “Welcome 2 My Thoughts”

BOSSIER CITY, LOUISIANA—Leonard C. Williams, a.k.a. Crucial, is many things to many people but one thing he definitely is not is a slacker. He works hard at everything he does, hence, the name for his latest single “On My Grind.”
“It’s a party song filled with motivation. Everybody likes money, so basically that’s what the track is about,” explained Crucial.
According to the upbeat rapper, he came up with the song while working, of course. It quickly became his “on-the-job anthem” created especially for hustlers who are all about making that money.
“If I can put a song together that everyone can vibe to and encourages them to make money which is grinding, that’ll be a perfect thing. I want people to get motivated to work hard for a living but have fun doing it,” explained Crucial.
This new single will be featured on Crucial’s upcoming album, “Welcome 2 My Thoughts,” which is scheduled for a fall release. According to this hip hop star in the making, the project will contain 14 head-nodding tracks.
“It’s got a little bit of everything. There is some rap, R&B, spiritual tracks and party music,” he stated. “All the tracks will pretty much motivate you. My three favorite tracks on the album are ‘Own My Grind,’ ‘My Goals’ and ‘Love My Style.’”
Influenced by Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Lil’ John and Twista, “Welcome 2 My Thoughts” is Crucial’s first big project; however, the buzz surrounding it has already been growing.
“I’m very excited. I’ve been getting a lot of positive feedback from it. It’s going to be awesome when I finally release it,” he stated. “It took me almost two years to put the whole thing together. While it’s taken a lot of hard work and dedication, it’s going to be worth it once the album is released.”

Galaxy (@GALAXY_6stars) – “Magnum Opus”

Missouri City Based Group of talented young artists who go by the name of ‘Galaxy’. The group consists of: Jay DzHun, Mekail, Marvpharoh, TonyG, Bagdad, Marcella, and solo artists under the Yxvlvg (Young, Xtra, Versatile, Lyrical, Vibrant, Group) Music label by the name of Sherod.

The meaning behind the name of the music group “Galaxy”.
The Milky Way is a diverse galaxy and we live in that spectrum with the different stars, planets, etc. They are all different personalities that love music. None of them are alike!.”
Marcella and Bagdad are the official producers of the group and they are “f*cking amazing and creative.”

Mekail, who is a rapper and producer, as the Common of the group.
Jay DzHun himself is an engineer and rapper who brings a lot of reality to his music because he’s been through a lot emotionally and with that comes the good and bad somewhat like one of his favorite rappers Earl Sweatshirt.
Marvpharoh is very versatile rapper who does production as well. He is like the Drake of the Group.

Sherod said he listens to rap and, though it may sound crazy, he likes to listen to house or edm like Calvin Harris, Cashmere Cat, and he loves Daft Punk. Overall, he likes any music that makes you happy and want to dance, and that’s the kind of music he wants to make.

Tony G does not discriminate because there’s something “[he] likes in all genres.” He and Jay DzHun are influenced by artists such as Kanye, Pharrell, Toro Y Moi, Disclosure, Chance the Rapper, and Childish Gambino because they are not afraid to be different.

The group wants to be like iconic rap groups such as NWA and Wu Tang, making timeless music, and one day there will be a biopic about them. Sherod also said that he wants to “give hope and a determination to the young listeners to follow their dreams no matter what it is.”
