Al Sheez, a midwest underground rap sensation, hails from Toledo, Ohio. His debut album “Mr Sheez” was released in 2009 on Go Get It Records. The single “Sweat” was his first successful single. It was featured in the motion picture “American Pie: The Naked Mile” and also featured on the NBC mini series “Friday Night Lights.” In addition to “Sweat”, his single “In Da club” also from the “Mr Sheez” album, was featured in CW’s wildly popular iZombie.
In 2013, he teamed up with Gorrila Zoe to make another of his successful single called “Lets Go”. After a brief hiatus from his career. Al Sheez, released his highly anticipated mix tape “C.L.A.W.” in the summer of 2016. “C.L.A.W.” which is an acronym for “Can’t Live Another Way” is a description of his mantra, and a dedication to his first cousin Claw, who lost his life to gun violence.
The first single off the album “C.L.A.W” is “New World” which features the talents of Jay Rush Jennings, who is the brother of Grammy nominated artist Lyfe Jennings. His second single is “Luvin Bandz” off the the same album. “Luvin Bandz” is a trap single for all that can relate.
Al Sheez will be continue to be a player in the music game, because of his unique style.
