Tuesday April 8th at Arlene’s Grocery in New York City, LowKey of YouHeardThatNew.com hosted the first #UnplugThatNew series event with VNova featuring the band the Michael Jazz Trio (MJT). VNova performed a live rendition of his mixtape Hidden in Plain Sight Volume 2 (#HIPS2), including a few exclusive cuts not on the mixtape. The music was recorded and mixed down by First Live Studios.

This is my debut project called Mixx N’ Match. This is a mash-up project where I took some of my favorite artists and put them together on songs that they’ve rapped on. I wanted to give people an idea of what it would sound like if certain artists who hadn’t collaborated together got on a song. From the likes of Logic on Dead Presidents with his favorite rapper J. Cole to Kendrick and Los spitting on Control. I hope you guys enjoy and there will be more to come.
