Slop (@sloplive) – Entombed – Prolog – Industrial Times

Sergio Lopes – (Slop) lives in São Paulo, Brazil. Dedicated to the production of electronic music influenced mostly by the german old school and attended the first class devoted exclusively to electronic music at the prestigious Institute of Audio and Video (I.A.V.) in São Paulo.

Since then, the I.A.V. has made great progress in its production techniques and its research into digital sound and his trip about ‘future retro’ audio concept. With precise and refined taste and a great knowledge of oldschool influences, he is helping to deepen the roots of electronic music to reach a modern critical sound piece.

Using vibrant low frequency sounds in his own tracks and remixes, ‘Slop-critical listen-dance-art-focused sound’ is always contagious.

Regal is a music producer, mix engineer, sound designer, and artist who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Audio Engineering from Full Sail University. He has logged several hundred hours behind the mixing desk working with several bands. After graduating, he focused on freelance engineering work. Producing and mixing for independent artists who have released several demos on the popular DattPiff mixtape hosting site. Recently, Regal has come out to the public, producing and selling instrumentals available for licensing on different websites including soundclick.com and his own kidregal.com. Despite his minimal online presence, he has gained a healthy following on social media through his twitter series #mixtips where he advises followers on different mixing techniques. He also reveals his own secrets of mixing and sound design elements that he has developed over the years.

Born and Raised in the western suburbs of Melbourne (Australia) I go by KC. I started writing when I was 15 years of age by the time I reached the age of 18 I knew music was something I didn’t want to take lightly so I started teaching myself how to Rap / Sing / Record / Produce / Mix my own music all the while doing YouTube videos as my music knowledge progressed to greater things. Music is something I live for I crave it every day and every night. My music is not the same as many people you would hear today – I am an independent Hip-Hop(R&B) Artist but my style is
completely different to the usual, I have people who hate rap tell me they like my music that’s how diverse it is. I tell everyone I live for this regardless of what level I’m on and how much hate I get; I will die trying to reach the highest level because I believe I have more to offer than a lot of people and I keep it real at all times.
