Cross King began rapping in 2011. Even though he always knew God had a purpose for him, he still always
felt second best. Then he began began writing and freestyling, and found his calling. He dubbed himself Cross
King. Right away he began learning the tools of the trade, and expanding his roots as an artist.Cross is influenced
by artists like; Dizzy Wright, Eminem, Guns and Roses, AC/DC, Kendrick Lamar, and many more.

Cross King writes, records, edits, mixes, and masters the music for all artist on his label. His Mr. Misunderstood: The Birth album is currently under wraps and will release August 2014. His $UM Body album will release around Christmas 2014. He works towards attaining his Associates of Business Administration, and signing to a Major Label, where he can gain knowledge of the industry and attain business contacts/relationships in the industry.

Long Island-based production
company MalTar Music and its flagship artist, Louie Castro, announced the
launch of his first official single “Story of My Life”. The single, produced by
Live of MalTar Music, serves as a taste from his forthcoming mixtape, Sex,
Dreams and The Pursuit of Happiness.
Written and recorded during an incredibly creative period over the past
year with MalTar Music, “Story of My Life” is the first single from the
forthcoming mixtape, Sex, Dreams and The Pursuit of Happiness. An
autobiographical track, “Story of My Life” is an extension of Castro’s
penchant for a classic sound: detailed, tell-it-like-it-is lyrics against a wall of
jazzy chords and dusty, hip-hop drum loops.
“Like most of the songs on the mixtape, this record is very personal,” says
Louie Castro. “I am humbled to be in a position to share my artistry with
the world.”
