Laid back Portland MC and producer, Tope, released his album Broke Boy Syndrome in December to some decent internet buzz, getting looks from XXL, 2DopeBoyz, OkayPlayer, and many more. His latest single “Rocky” features the vocals of fellow Portlander Dizz, as well as production by Theory Hazit. With the bounce and a catchy hook, “Rocky” is an undeniable song from a well crafted album featuring impressive guests Blu & Co$$ from LA. Be on the lookout for Tope in 2015.

Born and raised in Pacoima, California, Sean Pierre was raised by his mom, grandmother, aunt and sister, before he relocated at age 5 to Palmdale, California. With the good guidance of his upbringing, Sean attended the College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, earning an Associates degree in Social Science, while playing football at the school.

And then came the game-changer for Sean. He transferred to San Jose State University, and met his Label mate, Ray AKA “RAYDIO.” The pair quickly recognized a musical kinship, and launched rap duo Weliqgreenoes. Soon aligned with mentor Anthony Handy, the act was signed in 2014 to his indie label Tha Kamp Entertainment, LLC.
