London-based Akara Etteh produces house music as part of JammHot, hip-hop with Mickey Lightfoot, and soul with Rozen Child.
Regarding his latest solo demo, this child in the 90s: “growing up on a diet of Nigerian gospel, hip-hop and die-hard 00’s neo-soul,” is using his influences, combined with his classical training, “to create sing-along songs that shared-hometown Oasis would be proud of. Beats that move you, emotive instrumentation, with hooky, pop sensibilities.”
