Fugi Roc (@fugiroc) Feat. S.E.L (@selsoul) – Dangerous
Having pricked up our ears with their first sparkling collaboration, ‘Say What’s On Your Mind’, which went down a storm at summer 2011’s major Music festivals, Fugi Roc and S.E.L sprinkle some more urban magic out there with their brooding new vocal anthem ‘Dangerous’. Arriving just on time for the end of summer, this haunting dazzler is a modern take on a raw soulful-styled sound (with a nod to the old skool garage) and is starting to pick up some serious heat ahead of its October release date.
S.E.L’s haunting voice cuts through the low-end snaking bassline, shuffling keys and rippling deep beats, lifting the song up with its ‘‘like I wanna hurt u’ refrain, and mix of sleek fx and bouncy electronic stylings. The song’s stripped down style combines S.E.L’s iridescence with Fugi’s on point rhythmic patterns, creating a big reaction wherever its dropped. With a growing reputation in the industry and new mixes to come on ‘Dangerous’, its’ an exciting time for Fugi-Roc and S.E.L.
