Here’s the visual for Mark Morrison’s new R&B jam “Live My Life”, featuring New Orleans based up and coming artist Ghost, produced by Izze The Producer. British R&B star, Mark Morrison, whose single “Return of the Mack” in 1996 reached Number 1 in the UK, returned with an EP back in July, and is set to release a full-length new album in 2015. Izze The Producer’s production credits include Fat Trel ft. Rick Ross & Nipsey Hussle “She Fell In Love” and Rich Homie Quan “Blah Blah Blah”. The “Live My Life” video was directed by Hi-Def, who has directed videos such as Chief Keef “Kobe”, Chief Keef/Soulja Boy “Foreign Cars” and Lil’ Durk “Oh My God”.

The track The End is a good showcase for his abilities. Whilst the rhymes come thick and fast, the actual track is set at a languid pace, starting with just a finger click and a synth sound that resembles a harmonica. As with many hip hop tracks it starts with the vocal hook, though unusually we don’t hear this hook again until near the end of the track. It sets the tone nicely though, the subject being the end of a relationship.
