Salmin Fat Beatz Industry Workshop, Showcase and After Party Invades Atlanta
Slamin Fatbeatz Media & Promotions is 2% of the industries independent side, better known as the B market .This powerful company heralded by CEO Catherine Matsuura is gearing up for an industry workshop, showcase and after party. The purpose of this event is to provide education to indie artists and give them the facts about the music industry. This event will be broken down into three parts:
Workshop: The workshop will be held as a morning session made up of a&r’s, major and indie labels, media outlets, booking agents and media outlets,
Showcase: The showcase will allow artists to preform and show off their skills before scouts.
After Party: The after party will be the close of the event with three amazing artists and one group who have been grinding for some time and have made head way into the industry.
Artist Tour: After the after party, Fatbeatz Records has set a tour for these deserving young artists. The kick off starts in College Park, GA with this major event then it’s off to Ft Gains, GA, Macon, GA and then Alabama. We will break for a few months then it’s off to more Southern cities and then the West Coast. We encourage other artists who are making an impact in the industry to join us.

Quintes Que Austin has appeared in Ebony, Jet and Billboard Magazine was interviewed on a special Segment on BET for his song and video anti-bullying “Can’t keep Running Away” the song was so heart felt it got rotation on 106 & Park.
Jself is a multi-talented individual. He is an artist, graphic designer, producer and film maker. Jself has toured with major acts such as Buster Rhymes, Mystical, Eve and Jay Z. in 2013 he was signed to Fatbeatz Records and also made his grand finale with his smash film “ I think I’m Mike Lowery” the film sold out. In April Jself will be bring a casting call to Atlanta, ATown get ready!!
Str8hood has been grinding on the scene for some time now and has recently gotten recognition; in 2013 they were signed to the Fatbeatz label. Their accomplishments include opening for Pastor Troy, Poppa Duck, Yo Gotti, Jazzy Bones, They also performed at the Hustle & Flow in Atlanta, GA and has gotten major airplay around the country and overseas. They recently hit the charts at # 3 in Sweden.
Fresh Obama is lighting up the south with his new single “Polo Fan” he is a talented writer, current model with features in local Atlanta magazines such as Urban Spice Magazine, Street Report Magazine and other surrounding photographers and now tapping into the acting spectrum of entertainment.
