SPARKPLUG ASSASSINS – BRAVE

Sparkplug Assassins made their debut in Chicago in 2009 with the release of their self-titled full length cd. After some personnel changes they returned in 2011 with their second full length release ‘For All Intents and Purposes’ touring regionally throughout the Midwest in support of the album. The band was still evolving their sound until they recruited drummer Rick Cuevas in late 2012. He added more original ideas and arrangements bringing them to their current sound which can be heard on their 3rd full length release ‘Falling Forever’. Their sound is Alternative Metal in the style of Sevendust, Staind, Trapt, Breaking Benjamin, Ra, Candlelight Red just to give you an idea. They self produce everything but are very interested in working with an outside producer to help take the music to another level. It should be noted the band has stayed in the top 3 for Alternative Metal in the Chicago music charts on ReverbNation.
