It was an exciting evening of youthful mindless behavior as Yemi Marie opened for teen heart throb boy band Mindless Behavior during an energetic concert at Jones Convocation Center at Chicago State
University on Sunday April 20.

One journalist who reviewed the concert wrote: “Yemi Marie opened the show with the popular recording ‘Love Bop.’ Her silky sound mixed with some exhilarating bop dance moves initiated a party atmosphere with the audience. Yemi Marie’s style was complete, containing an excellent audible and visual show. . . Time and time again this teen sensation’s performance is a great start to every show.”

Also performing at the concert were young Chicago artists Kam, who sang her hit song “Killa Kam,” and Kemo, who performed his popular “Kemo Step.” “We had a great time,” Yemi Marie says of the evening. “The Mindless Behavior boys are so well-mannered and such nice gentlemen. They take time to make everyone feel important. And it was wonderful meeting fellow Chicago artists Kam and Kemo. Both are so talented.”
