Jordan King (@JordanKingUK) – “How To Love”

Jordan

After the recent success of his debut EP, ’The Night Shift’, UK R&B sensation Jordan King is back with a Valentines Special just for his Queens.

‘How To Love’ is a heartfelt track produced as a result of one of Kings’ personal love experiences. Having loved and lost, the song tells a story of regret, denial and the profession of true love.

“I wanted to write something that was open, real and honest.” – Jordan King

The repeated line ‘come home’ is the epitome of the songs message. Having found himself at the stage where he no longer wishes to play games King’s modern rendition of a love song tells a story we can all relate to.

“We all get to the point where we’re done pretending and we know where we’re supposed to be, after all home is where the heart is” – Jordan King

Staying true to his style, Kings video is reminiscent of the classic 90s R&B love story, with elegant yet simple shots bringing the story line to life.

With music airing on Pandora and other platforms throughout the world, in addition to having recorded with the likes of Ne-Yo, Miguel, Kurupt, Devin the Dude, MC LYTE, Erick Sermon, C-BO, etc., and performing on the bill with Kelly Rowland, Outkast, DMX, Paul Wall, 112, Warren G., SWV, Doug E. Fresh, E-40, Big Daddy Kane, Slick Rick, and many more, former Black Ice Records/Universal Records recording artist iRoc Omega resurfaced and gained some of the popularity that previously eluded him, with the release of his last album “The Coldest FIRE: RELOADED and REDEEMED.” Now he returns, dropping a heat seeking missile with “The End All Be All,” the new single from his upcoming EP entitled “The Purge.”

Born in Chicago, iRoc would move to Columbus, GA and Far Rockaway Queens, NY before settling in Anchorage, AK. With his parents divorcing soon after and life in Anchorage being similar to any other city, the next 10 plus years was hard and would only get harder for the soon to be rapper, with poverty setting in and forcing him to resort to a faster way of life in the streets. Initially, and just as something to do, iRoc started rapping with some of the other kids in school, but as countless people recognized his talent, it would soon become a passion not yet strong enough to overpower the pull of fast money. Life in the fast-lane would lead him to experience the loss of many friends and even his own freedom, facing a temporary stint within the system. Upon his release, a choice was made to pursue music a lot more seriously, and now with his cd “The Coldest Fire: Reloaded and Redeemed” available worldwide, in addition to the EP release entitled “The Purge” due mid-2015, as it is aptly tattooed on his arm and as he states so boldly, “you will all get to experience the Weight of my World.”
